Job Summary
Citi is hiring a Business Analytics Analyst 1 to support decision management and business strategy using data-driven insights. This entry-level position is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and foundational knowledge in business processes, systems, and risk management. The analyst will assist with implementing solutions, managing data queries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing business analytics solutions.
- Perform complex and varied data analysis tasks to support business decisions.
- Apply technical and functional knowledge across analytics and decision-making functions.
- Leverage tools like SAS, SQL, and Python for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Use judgment to evaluate factual data and resolve problems using prior experience and guidance.

Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a similar role
- Working knowledge of tools like Python, SAS, SQL
- Exposure to BI tools like Tableau is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or related fields
