About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our team at H&M Group. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that directly influence strategic and operational decisions across the business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deliver high-quality analyses, ensuring that our data-driven approach continues to shape the future of fashion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data discovery and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business objectives.
- Build and test data products, evaluate model outputs, and deliver insights in close collaboration with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Business teams.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Frame business problems with stakeholders, prepare large datasets for analysis, and develop data-driven solutions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to ensure transparency and consistency.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing through Communities of Practice, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Statistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL; working knowledge of Python or R is an advantage.
- Strong experience with Excel and BigQuery; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is beneficial.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and statistical analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
