Role: Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst at HSBC, you will play a key role in driving strategic transformation initiatives, defining business requirements, and ensuring seamless delivery across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, document, and manage business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyse current-state processes and design target-state solutions.
• Review test plans, test scenarios, and oversee overall testing activities.
• Work independently with stakeholders at all levels and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Identify risks, roadblocks, and proactively resolve issues.
• Apply design thinking principles such as persona mapping for customer-centric solutions.
• Support change management activities to ensure smooth adoption across teams.
• Contribute to strategic and commercially aligned outcomes based on business drivers and market understanding.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to structure and solve complex business problems.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and iterative development.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of the banking and financial services domain.
• Experience managing business and technology changes for BAU transitions.
• Ability to lead workshops, define scope, manage requirements, and document non-functional needs.

Good to Have

• CBAP or equivalent Business Analysis certification.
• Exposure to digital transformation or enterprise-wide change programs.
