Job Description

As an Associate Software Developer Intern, you will work on a real development project alongside experienced Google engineers and fellow interns. Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Work on assigned development projects under the guidance of Google engineers.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using standard programming practices.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews.

Collaboration & Learning

• Attend technical talks and sessions conducted by senior engineers and leaders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other interns.
• Contribute ideas and solutions during technical discussions.

Professional Exposure

• Gain insight into Google’s engineering culture, tools, and workflows.
• Participate in networking, community-building, and team activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English for technical discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning after internship completion.
• Availability to complete a full-time 10–12 week internship between May and August 2026.
