Job Description

As an IT Engineer at Razorpay, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing IT systems, hardware, and networks. The role focuses on end-user computing, system administration, infrastructure support, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of technology across the organization.

You will play a key role in keeping Razorpay’s technology infrastructure stable, secure, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & System Administration

• Maintain and manage client operating systems (Mac & Windows)
• Perform installation, configuration, monitoring, migration, and maintenance of IT systems
• Ensure systems align with enterprise architecture standards

Support & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Resolve system alerts and perform remediation activities
• Provide on-call support when required

Architecture & Automation

• Contribute to infrastructure architecture and design discussions
• Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization
• Write basic scripts and support automation initiatives

Collaboration & Reporting

• Collaborate with IT and business teams on initiatives and projects
• Proactively monitor system performance and utilization
• Maintain documentation, processes, and operational procedures

Eligibility Criteria

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in IT helpdesk and system administration
• Strong knowledge of Mac OS and Windows environments
• Experience working in Agile methodology
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership

Preferred Skills

• Experience in scripting or basic programming
• Exposure to infrastructure architecture and system design
• Experience in monitoring tools and performance optimization
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
