Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Emerson, you will be part of an agile Scrum team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software modules. The role emphasizes clean architecture, secure coding practices, unit testing, and peer collaboration to meet sprint and release goals.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Design

• Understand project scope and deliver features as part of an agile Scrum team
• Design and architect software modules following best practices
• Develop software solutions with a strong focus on quality and maintainability

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform unit testing to ensure high-quality code
• Support verification and validation activities when required
• Participate in peer reviews of code and other technical deliverables

Collaboration & Agile Practices

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document requirements
• Contribute to sprint planning, execution, and delivery
• Follow secure software development processes
