Job Description

As a Full Stack Engineer at Macquarie, you will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to enhance enterprise HR platforms. Your work will involve designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end solutions using modern programming frameworks, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.

You will contribute to enterprise-wide technology initiatives while ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java, Python, or Node.js
• Build dynamic frontend applications using React, Angular, or Single SPA
• Develop and maintain clean, reusable, and efficient code

API & Microservices

• Create and maintain RESTful APIs
• Contribute to microservices-based architectures
• Implement serverless and modular system designs

Database & Data Handling

• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Integrate NoSQL databases like MongoDB for flexible data storage

DevOps & Cloud

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Bamboo, or Argo CI/CD
• Use Docker for containerization and deploy applications on Kubernetes or cloud platforms

Quality & Collaboration

• Perform unit testing and API testing
• Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Eligibility Criteria

Required Skills

• Backend development using Java, Python, or Node.js
• Frontend development using React, Angular, or similar frameworks
• REST API development and microservices architecture
• Database experience with SQL and NoSQL systems
• DevOps fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms
• Strong unit testing and API testing knowledge
