Role Summary

As a Content Specialist (Trust & Safety), you will play a critical role in reviewing and enforcing YouTube’s Community Guidelines. You will manage escalations related to questionable or harmful content, contribute insights to improve enforcement workflows, and support global Trust & Safety initiatives.

The role requires strong judgment, analytical thinking, and emotional resilience, as it involves exposure to sensitive and graphic content.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review violative, controversial, and sensitive video content in line with Community Guidelines
  • Enforce YouTube’s content policies with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Manage escalations in the content policy space and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Analyze incident data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute insights that help improve policy enforcement and operational processes
  • Support testing of new systems, tools, and workflows for content escalation handling

Required Skills

  • Experience in content review, assessment, or online safety operations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to analyze data using spreadsheets and analytical tools
