Role Overview – Associate Data Analyst at Epsilon

As an Associate Data Analyst, you will support the delivery of recurring and ad-hoc reports, validate datasets for accuracy, and help maintain Tableau dashboards. You’ll gain exposure to cloud-based data processing using Databricks and collaborate with teams to resolve reporting requests efficiently.

This role is ideal for candidates aiming to build a strong foundation in data analytics, data quality, and BI reporting within digital marketing and performance advertising environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support delivery of accurate recurring and ad-hoc reports for business decisions
• Perform data validation to ensure integrity, accuracy, and consistency
• Write and optimize PySpark or Scala queries on the Databricks platform
• Prepare, optimize, and validate large datasets
• Maintain and update Tableau dashboards and Cognos reports
• Convert data insights into clear, actionable visualizations
• Collaborate with teams to manage and resolve reporting support requests
• Ensure timely and accurate issue resolution related to data and reports

Required Skills & Requirements

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in data analytics or related roles (freshers can apply)
• Understanding of SQL, Python, PySpark, and data visualization tools like Tableau
• Experience with data validation and strong attention to detail
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and support requests
• Proficiency in MS Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
• Exposure to e-commerce, digital marketing, or performance advertising is a plus
• Interest or basic experience with Databricks or cloud data platforms
• Willingness to learn version control tools such as GitHub or GitLab
