Role Overview – Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Logistics Operations)

As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee, you will support transport operations and logistics finance activities by validating invoices, coordinating with logistics partners, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate operational records.

This role provides a strong foundation for careers in Supply Chain Operations, Logistics Finance, Business Control, and Operations Analytics within manufacturing and industrial organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and follow up on invoices from logistics service providers (LSPs)
• Validate incoming invoices against POs and rate contracts
• Coordinate with Accounting Services for timely payments
• Reconcile balances with LSPs and customers
• Issue operational invoices to customers within agreed timelines
• Monitor incoming and outgoing payments as per payment terms
• Support monthly closing activities (freight, volumes, provisions)
• Create reports and statistical data for operational analysis
• Handle deviations, claims, and corrective actions
• Support audits, taxation inputs, and internal finance reviews
• Assist managers in logistics and transport operations tasks
