As an Application Engineer, you will act as a technical bridge between customers, sales teams, and internal engineering functions. The role involves understanding customer requirements, recommending the right products, supporting OEM relationships, and contributing to product strategy and demand generation.

This position is well-suited for engineers who combine technical depth with commercial awareness and enjoy working in global, cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical expert supporting customers and sales teams
• Assist with product selection, specifications, and application compatibility
• Manage technical relationships with large OEM customers
• Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams
• Participate in onsite customer visits and industry trade shows
• Share technical documents such as drawings, data sheets, and specifications
• Provide pricing recommendations based on cost, market trends, and value positioning
• Share customer insights and product ideas with product managers
• Support resolution of product performance and quality issues
• Develop and deliver technical training for sales and partners
• Manage application engineering projects as per defined processes
• Support demand generation through white papers, marketing content, and campaigns

• Experience supporting commercial operations (sales & customers)
• Industry exposure to microfluidics in Life Sciences
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical recommendations
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in global environments
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Commercial awareness and analytical mindset
• Strong presentation and problem-solving abilities
