Role Overview – Relationship Associate (Bancassurance)

As a Relationship Associate, you will act as a key link between Axis Bank branch teams and Axis Max Life Insurance, driving insurance sales through bank-led channels. The role involves managing branch relationships, converting bank-generated leads, and ensuring operational excellence while adhering strictly to company guidelines.

This is a performance-driven role offering strong exposure to life insurance sales, retail banking distribution, and channel management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with Axis Bank branch sellers and field staff
  • Convert insurance leads generated by bank branches into quality business
  • Coordinate with Cluster Manager and Operations HUB for smooth execution
  • Ensure minimal customer complaints through timely follow-ups
  • Adhere to defined TATs for first customer contact and subsequent interactions
  • Maintain 15-month policy persistency through structured follow-up
  • Train and activate bank sellers on life insurance concepts and new products
  • Drive seller activation and meet branch-level business targets
  • Use LMS and internal systems for lead tracking and follow-up calls
  • Ensure strict compliance with company processes and guidelines
