Role Overview – Sales Support / Assistant Officer

The Sales Support / Assistant Officer is responsible for enabling efficient execution of sales and marketing activities by managing orders, coordinating dispatches, supporting finance processes, preparing MIS reports, and maintaining strong coordination with customers and internal teams. The role directly contributes to order fulfilment accuracy, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Order & Finished Goods Management

  • Ensure order entry within 24 hours of receipt
  • Coordinate with plant teams for dispatch and clearance
  • Track OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance
  • Coordinate hold releases with Territory Managers
  • Manage PFI coordination with customers
  • Work on Oracle / ERP systems

Finance Coordination

  • Request and follow up on credit check releases
  • Prepare RCN in coordination with TM by the 7th of every month
  • Share sale intimations and follow up on customer payments
  • Send balance confirmations and collect UTR details
  • Coordinate refunds and monthly liability provisions

MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly vertical reports by the 5th of every month
  • Maintain daily order booking, sales, stock, and transit reports
  • Generate MTD plant-wise and product-wise booking reports
  • Prepare customer-wise performance reports (All India)
  • Assist during audits and maintain pricing circulars

Coordination & Operations

  • Visit plants to manage stock at optimal levels
  • Support respective Territory Managers for assigned customers
  • Coordinate sales projections with customers and TM

Digitalization Initiatives

  • Support Ekayan testing and system integrations
  • Actively participate in digitalization and RPA projects

Key Accounts Support

  • Assist Territory Managers in handling key accounts
  • Support Key Account Management activities
  • Improve customer satisfaction through timely service

Safety Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe working environment for employees and visitors
  • Follow office and WFH safety practices
