Role Overview – Associate Application Support Engineer

As an Associate Application Support Engineer, you will be part of the Customer Engineering team, handling advanced customer issues escalated from Tier I and Tier II support. The role focuses on deep technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and collaboration with engineering teams to improve platform stability and customer satisfaction.

You will play a critical role in ensuring high availability and reliability of LeadSquared’s SaaS platform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve complex customer issues escalated from Tier I & Tier II support teams
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting using logs, SQL queries, APIs, and code analysis
  • Conduct root cause analysis for application and infrastructure-related issues
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and SRE teams for faster resolution
  • Implement configuration changes, patches, bug fixes, and system improvements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles
  • Share technical best practices with Tier I and Tier II teams
  • Deliver technical training sessions to global professional services teams
  • Contribute to improving product reliability and support processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 1–3 years experience in SaaS or application support roles
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of APIs, SQL, and web technologies (HTTP, JavaScript basics)
  • Experience using monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Loggly, or similar
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation platforms
