Role Overview – Firmware / Software Engineer I

As a Firmware / Software Engineer I, you will work on testing, validating, and enhancing firmware and system-level software used in Zebra’s products. You will contribute to defined portions of larger engineering projects while following established development and testing processes under guidance from experienced engineers.

This role provides a strong foundation for building a career in firmware, embedded systems, and low-level software engineering.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform firmware testing activities as part of larger engineering initiatives
  • Execute software tests designed by senior engineers
  • Review test results and conduct root cause analysis for defects
