Role Overview – Operational Engineer I at CSG

As an Operational Engineer I, you will support the Ascendon platform, ensuring stability, performance, and availability of cloud-based solutions. The role involves installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and collaboration with architecture and development teams.

You will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence while contributing to automation, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Ascendon products and third-party tools
• Monitor application performance and proactively suggest remediation
• Troubleshoot, bug-fix, and support platform issues
• Automate operational and platform engineering processes
• Document procedures and operational workflows
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and off-hour maintenance windows
• Collaborate with architecture, development, and engineering teams
• Support CI/CD pipelines and release processes
• Work with databases, web services, and cloud infrastructure
