Role Overview – New Product Fulfillment and Database Engineer

In this role, you will primarily support new product development fulfillment activities by building and maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and managing engineering databases that directly impact operational and manufacturing parameters. You will act as a key communication bridge between design, engineering, and operations teams, ensuring seamless product readiness for commercialization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support fulfillment activities for new product development programs
  • Define, identify, and coordinate internal and external manufacturing and assembly resources
  • Act as a communication link between engineering and operations teams
  • Build and maintain BOMs for seating and workstation standard offerings
  • Prepare BOMs for special customer or business requests
  • Maintain databases that influence operational and manufacturing parameters
  • Support costing activities and provide DMC inputs to stakeholders
  • Perform additional tasks aligned with business objectives and project needs

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
  • 1–3 years of experience in R&D, BOM creation, or product engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
