Role Overview – Associate Engineer at ANKO

As an Associate Engineer, you will work in a 24×7 Security Operations Center (SOC), handling cyber security incidents and ensuring threat detection and response across enterprise systems.

You will triage alerts, investigate suspicious activity, document findings, and drive incidents toward resolution. The role also requires monitoring emerging threats and understanding tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to cyber security incidents
• Work in a 24×7 SOC environment
• Monitor and investigate SIEM alerts (Azure Sentinel)
• Perform threat analysis and threat hunting activities
• Understand and mitigate DDoS threats
• Manage security devices and firewall configurations
• Document incident reports and maintain logs
• Identify automation opportunities in security workflows
• Stay updated with latest cyber threat trends and TTPs
