Role Overview – Analyst Performance & Insights at Target

As an Analyst – Performance & Insights, you will work closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and media partners to analyze digital advertising campaign performance across Target’s retail media ecosystem. The role involves converting complex datasets into meaningful insights that influence media strategies, investment decisions, and campaign effectiveness.

You will support advertisers running campaigns on Roundel, Target’s media network, across platforms such as Target.com, mobile applications, and premium external publishers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mid-campaign, ad-hoc, and post-campaign performance reports
  • Analyze historical data, category benchmarks, and campaign objectives
  • Consolidate vendor-level reports into quarterly and annual insights
  • Identify key performance indicators and translate results into strategic recommendations
  • Monitor campaign trends and recommend optimization strategies
  • Ensure data accuracy and quality across all reports
  • Extract and validate data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Transform raw datasets into structured insights for analysis
