Role Overview – Application Support Engineer at Concentrix

As an Application Support Engineer at Concentrix, you will be responsible for supporting mission-critical Trade Portal applications across UAT, Standby, and Production environments. You will work on incident management, root cause analysis, deployment support, and performance monitoring to ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise applications.

This role offers hands-on exposure to production systems, database coordination, server monitoring, and release management in a large global operations environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide application support for production and UAT environments
• Perform manual deployments and application installations
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents
• Recreate and analyze production issues in test environments
• Coordinate with DBA, Server, Storage, and Network teams
• Support version migrations and patch deployments
• Monitor CPU, memory, and application performance
• Maintain knowledge base (KB) and documentation
• Support DR drills, server movements, and planned activities

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

Core Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Linux system administration
• Good knowledge of Oracle databases
• Experience in manual deployment and release support
• Hands-on troubleshooting of production applications
