Role Overview – WordPress Developer (Contractual)

As a WordPress Developer at BrowserStack, you will work closely with designers and senior engineers to develop scalable, reusable WordPress components and templates. You’ll be responsible for maintaining code quality, fixing bugs, ensuring performance and accessibility standards, and participating in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and planning meetings.

This role requires strong backend and frontend skills, along with experience in hosting environments and REST API integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop reusable WordPress components and templates
• Convert wireframes and layouts into functional WordPress pages
• Perform QA, bug fixing, and performance optimizations
• Ensure adherence to development and deployment standards
• Participate in daily stand-ups, planning, and revamp discussions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve blockers and deliver on time
