Role Overview – Customer Support Executive at BuyMore

As a Customer Support Executive, you will manage end-to-end customer support operations across calls and emails. The role involves coordinating with logistics, warehouse, finance, and tech teams, monitoring orders, deliveries, SLA, TAT, and RTO, and ensuring a smooth customer experience throughout the order lifecycle.

This role is well-suited for candidates looking to build a career in e-commerce operations, customer experience, and supply chain coordination.


Roles & Responsibilities

Customer Communication & Support

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls related to orders, deliveries, returns, and refunds
  • Respond to customer emails within defined turnaround times
  • Act as the first point of contact and provide accurate order and shipment updates
  • Maintain empathetic, professional, and clear communication

Order & Logistics Monitoring

  • Track order confirmation, pickup, transit, delivery, delays, and RTO cases
  • Ensure adherence to SLA and TAT for deliveries and queries
  • Proactively identify exceptions and initiate corrective actions
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to resolve delivery issues

Ticketing & Escalation Management

  • Create and manage support tickets with proper documentation
  • Ensure timely resolution and closure of tickets
  • Handle escalations and collaborate with internal teams
  • Report recurring or critical issues for long-term fixes

ERP & Internal Coordination

  • Update customer interactions and order status in ERP systems
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, finance, and tech teams
  • Work closely with courier partners for exception handling

Process & Quality Improvement

  • Follow SOPs, compliance, and quality guidelines
  • Identify gaps and suggest process improvements
  • Maintain accurate reports and performance records

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable handling customer calls and emails
  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to e-commerce or logistics operations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, ticketing tools, SLA, TAT, RTO
