Role Overview – IT Support Analyst I

As an IT Support Analyst I at Calix, you will provide front-line IT support to employees, focusing on hardware, operating systems, cloud tools, and network troubleshooting. You will manage service desk tickets, assist with NetOps-related issues, and collaborate with local and global IT teams to ensure seamless technology operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality IT support to Calix employees in a fast-paced environment
  • Support laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and cloud-based tools
  • Manage incidents and service requests using a service desk ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, O365, and cloud technologies
  • Perform hardware setup, maintenance, and asset inventory tracking
  • Troubleshoot WiFi and wired network issues including packet loss, latency, and IP conflicts
  • Process and resolve NetOps-related tickets; escalate to Level 3 support when required
  • Document and update IT and NetOps procedures and instructions
  • Provide on-site technical support during special company events
  • Collaborate with regional and global IT support teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Experience with Windows and macOS environments
  • Knowledge of O365 and cloud-based technologies
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking (DNS, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6)
  • Troubleshooting wired and wireless networks (802.1x, packet loss, latency)
  • Familiarity with service desk tools and ticketing systems

Additional Technical Exposure (Plus, Not Mandatory)
