Role Overview – Financial Accounting (Accounting Schematics)

In this role, you will support end-to-end financial accounting and product control activities for a variety of international banking products. You’ll ensure accurate accounting treatment, maintain strong controls, and work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve reporting and compliance challenges.

This position requires a solid understanding of banking products, accounting standards, and transaction flows, along with strong documentation and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial accounting and/or product control for international banking products
• Ensure correct accounting treatment in line with IFRS 9 and local GAAP
• Design, document, and maintain end-to-end accounting process flows
• Interpret transaction descriptions and ensure accurate booking and reporting
• Support governance and maintenance of the Chart of Accounts
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Product Control, and Technology teams
• Drive process improvement initiatives for efficiency and control enhancement
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal control assessments
