Job Summary

As a Quality and Automation Engineer 1, you will be responsible for validating product quality by analyzing and testing codebases across front-end, middleware, and database systems. You will design and execute automated, repeatable test solutions to reduce manual testing efforts and improve overall code quality and consistency.

This role involves close collaboration with software engineers, contributing to automated testing frameworks, diagnosing test failures, and ensuring high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and maintain automated test scripts using industry coding standards.
• Validate product functionality across multiple system layers (UI, middleware, databases).
• Analyze failed test cases and debug automation scripts to restore functionality.
• Execute automated test suites and report results to engineering teams.
• Maintain automation codebases using version control systems (GIT, SVN).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to meet product automation requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery with regular attendance, including night/weekend shifts if required.
• Follow Comcast’s operating principles and contribute to a customer-first culture.

Education & Eligibility Criteria
