Key Responsibilities

• Perform should-cost estimation for automotive and industrial components
• Develop detailed process-based cost breakdowns, including:
  • Casting, forging, and machining
  • Injection moulding
  • Sheet metal, fabrication, and stamping
  • PCBs and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Conduct VA/VE workshops to identify cost reduction opportunities
• Analyse cost drivers such as material, labour, overheads, tooling, yield losses
• Perform what-if and sensitivity analysis for sourcing and negotiations
• Benchmark supplier quotations against internal should-cost models
• Collaborate with design, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams
• Prepare structured cost reports, assumptions, and methodologies
• Present cost insights and recommendations to client stakeholders
