Role Overview
As a Data Analyst at Euromonitor, you will play a critical role in standardizing, modeling, and forecasting global datasets involving demographic, socio-economic, and macroeconomic trends. This role demands curiosity, statistical precision, and a strong foundation in data manipulation and predictive analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and manipulate large datasets using R
- Standardize raw data to ensure consistency across sources
- Perform interpolation and extrapolation using both quantitative and qualitative methods
- Apply forecasting techniques for time-series data
- Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain high data accuracy
- Document methodologies and maintain transparency across the team
- Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing teams to address client-specific data needs
- Continuously seek ways to improve models and methodologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, or related field
- Strong command of R for statistical modeling
- Basic understanding of Python for data manipulation
- Experience with time-series analysis, forecasting, or statistical computation
- Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal)
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated
- Strong team collaboration skills and ability to work independently
