About the Role
As a Data Analyst within the Solution to Cost team—a key part of Cognizant’s Strategic Engagements Group—you will analyze highly segmented, incomplete pricing and solution datasets for IT services. This role is crucial in shaping cost-effective, data-driven strategies across global tech engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform deep analysis of IT services cost and price data across software, hardware, and service lines
- Aggregate, clean, and interpret data from multiple internal and external sources
- Create executive-level dashboards and reporting packages outlining trends and insights
- Provide actionable recommendations based on cost and pricing analysis
- Partner with opportunity pursuit teams to guide data-informed business decisions
- Continuously improve tools, processes, and templates used by the Solution to Cost team
Required Skills
- Strong command of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
- Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Attention to detail in working with incomplete and fragmented datasets
- Ability to simplify complex data for executive-level presentations
- Clear communication and collaborative mindset
