Role Overview – Software Engineer I (MERN)

As a Software Engineer I, you will develop full-stack features using Node.js, React, TypeScript, and cloud services, while also supporting AI integrations that enhance Diligent’s compliance and governance products. You’ll start with core engineering work and progressively contribute to AI-enabled features such as MCP servers, AI APIs, and intelligent workflows.

This role values strong software fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to learn, rather than deep AI experience on day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features using Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Python
• Develop APIs and services for AI and application integration
• Create integration layers connecting AI capabilities to existing products
• Work on MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and AI workflows
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security controls
• Build audit logging and observability for AI-powered features
• Develop React components for AI-enhanced user experiences
• Deploy services using AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
