Job Description

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing, analyzing, and governing data to support business intelligence and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high data quality standards.

This position requires strong SQL expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance & Compliance

• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal data standards.
• Identify and mitigate data risks and vulnerabilities.

Data Architecture & Quality

• Design and maintain data architecture and metadata management systems.
• Monitor data quality, integrity, and consistency metrics.
• Report data quality and governance insights to senior management.

Analytics & Insights

• Use advanced SQL to analyze and transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Enable informed decision-making across teams.

Collaboration & Training

• Work with cross-functional teams to align data practices with business needs.
• Develop and deliver training programs on data governance best practices.
• Promote a data-driven culture within the organization.

Data Security

• Ensure data security and confidentiality through access controls and encryption.
• Maintain compliance with data protection standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0–5+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
