Job Overview – Product Order Engineer I at Emerson

As a Product Order Engineer I, you will review and validate commercial and technical orders, ensure product compatibility, create or update product structures, and coordinate with factories to enable smooth manufacturing execution. You will also act as a technical interface between sales teams, local business partners, and manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming commercial and technical orders as per defined guidelines
• Validate specification sheets against OEDI / II systems and product bulletins
• Ensure compatibility between selected product options
• Create and update product structures and BOMs
• Raise engineering requests and part number setups
• Submit Internal Order Requisitions (IOR) to factories
• Respond to factory queries within defined timelines
• Act as Order Engineering Coordinator for large project orders
• Collaborate with Sales and Local Business Partners on technical queries
• Support backlog reduction and lead-time improvement initiatives
