Role Overview – Cybersecurity Analyst (Vulnerability Management)

As an Analyst I in Vulnerability Management at FIS, you will identify and assess security vulnerabilities across systems and applications. You will work closely with internal teams to validate scanner findings, coordinate remediation efforts, and ensure compliance with security standards.

The role involves scanning, analyzing results, performing manual verification, patching systems, and strengthening the vulnerability management program through reporting and metrics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess system and application vulnerabilities
  • Monitor and respond to vulnerabilities detected by scanners
  • Validate findings and coordinate remediation with internal teams
  • Perform patching and system maintenance
  • Track remediation progress and manage vulnerability lifecycle
  • Develop security metrics and compliance reports
  • Participate in rapid response for emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to meet audit requirements
