Role Overview – Junior Engineer at Flex

As a Junior Engineer, you will support engineering and manufacturing teams by managing BOMs, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. You will work closely with global sites, process engineers, and materials teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation of engineering changes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create and manage part numbers for BOMs using Agile and Baan systems
• Prepare and maintain Approved Vendor Lists (AVL)
• Download, review, and release customer product specifications and documents
• Act as a Change Analyst during New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Release part lists to production after ECO implementation
• Create, review, route, track, and release ECOs using PLM tools
• Coordinate with Process, Product Engineering, and Materials teams
• Study drawings and ECOs to ensure accurate execution
• Respond to internal and customer queries related to engineering changes
• Ensure adherence to defined process metrics and timelines

Required Skills & Tools

• Knowledge of NPI, ECO, and BOM management
• Hands-on exposure to PLM systems linked to ECO processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
• Good analytical and coordination abilities
