Job Description – Service Desk Analyst (HCLTech)

As a Service Desk Analyst at HCLTech, you will act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues faced by internal users and clients. The role focuses on incident management, service request handling, troubleshooting, and customer support, ensuring smooth IT operations and high user satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first-level support for IT incidents and service requests
  • Provide L1 technical support via phone, email, chat, and ticketing tools
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, VPN, printers, and network connectivity
  • Log, prioritize, track, and resolve incidents using ITSM tools
  • Escalate unresolved issues to L2 / L3 support teams
  • Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and request management
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions
  • Ensure SLA compliance and excellent customer service
  • Assist users with password resets, access management, and system configurations
