About the Role

As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end credit evaluation and underwriting of various loan products across Retail, Agri, SME, Business Banking, and Enterprise segments. The role requires conducting comprehensive 360-degree customer assessments and aligning credit decisions with ICICI Bank’s principle of “Fair to Customer, Fair to Bank.”

You will work closely with relationship teams, legal, risk, and technical valuation units to ensure robust portfolio quality and governance standards.


Key Responsibilities

1. 360° Customer Credit Assessment

  • Conduct holistic evaluation of customer credit requirements
  • Capture broader banking needs beyond immediate loan requests

2. Credit Appraisal & Underwriting

  • Analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
  • Prepare and process credit appraisal notes within delegated authority
  • Assess repayment capacity and risk exposure

3. Portfolio Management

  • Monitor loan utilization and covenant compliance
  • Ensure portfolio quality and adherence to governance framework

4. Regulatory & Process Compliance

  • Ensure underwriting decisions align with internal frameworks
  • Track regulatory changes and assess portfolio impact

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with legal, field investigation, technical valuation, and risk teams
  • Support relationship teams in delivering customer-centric banking solutions
