Role Overview – Analyst (Audit Data & Analytics)

As an Analyst at KPMG, you will support Audit Data & Analytics (D&A) engagements by performing data extraction, transformation, validation, and analytics using advanced tools and platforms. You will work closely with global engagement teams and clients, contributing to high-quality audit deliverables and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Process & Delivery

• Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) activities including data cleansing and validation
• Coordinate with engagement teams and external clients to collect required data
• Execute analytics using KPMG AI tools (MindBridge) and KCw Data Workbench
• Troubleshoot and fix issues in data preparation and transformation scripts
• Create and update guidance documents and training materials
• Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality Audit D&A deliverables

Technical & Functional

• Understand ERP systems from functional or techno-functional perspectives
• Use analytics & visualization tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Azure, Power BI, Advanced Excel
• Present analytical insights in a clear and user-friendly format
• Support development, enhancement, and documentation of analytics modules
• Maintain data confidentiality and comply with risk management policies
