Job Description

As a Service Desk Support Trainee, you will provide remote IT support across multiple operating systems and applications. The role focuses on basic troubleshooting, user support, documentation, and escalation handling, making it ideal for freshers with foundational IT knowledge and strong communication skills.

This position offers hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments and continuous learning through technical training and knowledge-base resources.


Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide remote support for Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and Chrome OS
  • Perform basic OS troubleshooting and issue diagnosis
  • Assist users with access, login, and account-related issues

Application Support

  • Support Google Workspace (G Suite) installation and basic usage
  • Follow documented procedures and escalate unresolved issues to SMEs or leads

Documentation & Process Adherence

  • Maintain accurate case documentation and follow defined IT support guidelines
  • Use knowledge base (KB) articles to improve resolution efficiency

Communication & Customer Support

  • Communicate clearly with non-technical users
  • Explain solutions in a simple and professional manner
  • Deliver consistent customer service experience

Continuous Learning

  • Participate in regular technical training sessions
  • Identify recurring issues and provide feedback for process improvement
