Role Overview – Trainee Transaction Processing Officer at Mphasis

As a Trainee Transaction Processing Officer, you will work at Level-1 (L1) processing financial and brokerage documents for a US-based capital market client. The role is non-voice, accuracy-driven, and requires strong knowledge of financial markets, accounting, and investments.

You will be trained to handle sensitive financial data where 100% accuracy is critical, as errors may have direct financial impact on clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Process capital market & brokerage documents for US clients
• Perform accurate transaction processing in a non-voice BPS environment
• Work with financial data, investments, and accounting calculations
• Ensure 100% accuracy, as errors can have financial impact
• Use MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email drafting extensively
• Participate in client calls and onshore training sessions when required
• Follow SOPs, SLAs, and compliance standards strictly
• Coordinate with Team Lead and follow company policies
• Be flexible to work US night shifts and overtime if required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical / Process Skills

• Strong knowledge of Stock Market & Capital Market concepts
• Understanding of financial concepts, investments, accounting methods
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Macros preferred)
• Typing speed of 28 WPM with ≥95% accuracy
• Strong analytical skills and quick learning ability
