Job Description

As a Data & Analytics Analyst, you will support the analysis of complex datasets to identify business issues, opportunities, and solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to capture, validate, and document business and data requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality analytics, improving business processes, and helping shape the future of data-driven decision-making at NatWest Group.


Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Interrogate, interpret, and visualise large volumes of data to identify business opportunities and challenges.
  • Perform data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis.
  • Generate insights that support informed decision-making.

Business Analysis & Solutions

  • Capture, validate, and document business and data requirements.
  • Conduct options analysis and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain full traceability between business requirements and analytical outputs.

Process Improvement & Quality Assurance

  • Identify opportunities to challenge and improve existing business processes.
  • Create and execute quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Resolve data inconsistencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Background in business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
