Role Overview – Associate Software Engineer at Precisely

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will work on maintaining and enhancing products within the Data Integrity Suite. You will collaborate with architects, product managers, QA, UX, and support teams to design and develop robust, scalable enterprise applications.

This role is well-suited for engineers who enjoy problem-solving, clean code, learning new technologies, and working in agile product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Java and/or Python
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Contribute to technical design discussions and code reviews
• Improve code quality and address non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, reliability)
• Debug and resolve product defects
• Implement unit and integration tests
• Learn and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies
• Collaborate with QA, UX, Product Management, and Customer Support teams

Technical Skills & Requirements

• Knowledge of Java or Python
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Working knowledge of RDBMS (SQL Server / Oracle) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
