Role Overview – Intern / Trainee (IT Risk Advisory) at PwC

As an Intern / Trainee, you will support PwC’s IT Risk and Assurance engagements across multiple industries. The role focuses on evaluating IT General Controls, performing internal audits, and assessing compliance with global standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.

You will work closely with senior consultants and client stakeholders, gaining exposure to risk assessment methodologies, audit documentation, and consulting best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform IT Assessment Reviews including ITGC and controls testing
• Support internal audits, SOX/IFC, and risk assessments
• Evaluate IT policies, change management, access controls, backup & recovery
• Assist in applying frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST
• Conduct client interviews and walkthrough meetings
• Document findings, root causes, and risk impact
• Prepare assessment artifacts and client deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional and virtual teams
• Support project reporting and timely task completion
• Travel to client locations as per project requirements
