Role Overview – Software Engineer in Test at SentinelOne

As a Software Engineer in Test, you will take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of SentinelOne’s SaaS-based cybersecurity products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and automation engineers to close test gaps and deliver high-quality releases.

The role emphasizes Python and TypeScript-based automation, end-to-end testing, API validation, and backend/infrastructure testing in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Python and TypeScript
• Perform API, end-to-end (E2E), backend, and infrastructure testing
• Validate the quality of SentinelOne’s EPP / EDR solutions
• Automate triaging of test execution results and investigate failures
• Ensure coverage of critical product components and close identified test gaps
• Collaborate with automation engineers, developers, and product managers
• Improve test processes to increase efficiency and product reliability

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in automation testing for multi-layered products
• Strong experience with Python (Pytest framework)
• Experience testing SaaS / cloud-based applications
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with identity management, Active Directory, MFA, and IDP
• Strong debugging and problem investigation skills
