Roles Offered
Cisco is hiring interns for three key tracks:
1. Software Engineer – Network Protocols
- Understand routing, switching, TCP/IP.
- Basics of firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS, TLS.
- Programming in Python, systems debugging, optimization.
2. Software Engineer – Application Development
- Strong grasp of OOP, Python, cloud scaling.
- Involvement in mobile app or open-source tools a plus.
- Interest in UI/UX design is beneficial.
3. Software Engineer – Embedded Systems
- Focus on kernel, BSPs, device drivers.
- Strong OS-level fundamentals.
- Emphasis on system-level programming and debugging.
Eligibility Criteria
- Final/pre-final year students graduating in 2025 or 2026.
- No active backlogs at the time of registration.
- Open to all branches/degrees.
- Solid programming skills (Python preferred).
- Good understanding of CS fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging ability.
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
