Role Overview – Data Network Engineer at TCS

As a Data Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across delivery projects. You will handle complex troubleshooting, migration activities, and outage management, working closely with internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors.

This role requires strong ownership, technical depth, and the ability to lead during critical network incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network components based on project requirements
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Pulse VPN, F5, Bluecoat Proxy
• Execute network assessments and proof-of-concepts (PoC)
• Provide L3 support for escalated delivery issues
• Handle network data implementation and migration projects
• Conduct high-level design (HLD) and prepare implementation proposals
• Use tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, KIWI backup tool for analysis and monitoring
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and third-party vendors
• Lead critical outage and incident bridge calls
• Create and maintain SOPs and knowledge base documentation
• Participate in weekly/monthly customer meetings and reporting
