About the Role

Oracle is hiring a Technical Analyst 1 – Support (IC1) to join our IT & Information Security department. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating technical issues, troubleshooting front-end and back-end applications, and providing solutions to end users across the globe. This is a dynamic opportunity for graduates with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and client support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve issues in front-end applications by capturing details, applying fixes, shadowing users, and testing workflows.
  • Work on back-end support using techniques such as capturing log files, querying tables, updating database fields, and cycling servers.
  • Document investigation details including notes, activities, resolutions, and knowledge articles.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Prioritize tasks based on severity to balance client satisfaction and business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to route issues to the appropriate experts.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in technical/application support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience in application support, client/customer support, incident/problem/change management.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to work with databases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with global stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work in shifts (5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST) and provide on-call support as required.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
