Role Overview – Trainee (Infosec) at Murugappa Group

As a Trainee – Infosec, you will support enterprise-level information security operations by monitoring security events, analyzing incidents, and assisting in vulnerability assessments. This role is designed to groom fresh talent into Cyber Security Analysts, SOC Analysts, and Information Security professionals.

You will work closely with senior security teams to identify threats, report incidents, and ensure timely resolution in line with organizational security policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security events using SIEM tools
• Perform incident monitoring, analysis, and reporting
• Identify and track security incidents to closure
• Assist in Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT/PT)
