About the UIDAI Internship 2025

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched its Internship Scheme 2025 to offer students a hands-on experience in technology, legal, management, finance, and digital operations related to India’s Aadhaar ecosystem.

This government internship program allows students, graduates, and research scholars to gain exposure to real-time projects, including data analytics, cybersecurity, AI, ML, public policy, and digital governance.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Indian Citizens only
Academic Performance: Minimum 60% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA in all prior semesters

✅ Technical Fields

  • Graduates (B.Tech/B.E/B.Design/B.Graphic, etc.) – Final or pre-final year OR completed within last 6 months
  • Post Graduates (M.Tech/ME/MCA/M.Des, etc.) – Final/pre-final year OR completed within last 6 months

✅ Non-Technical Fields

  • Graduates (Legal, Commerce, Accounts, Management, Finance, Mass Comm, Math, Stats, etc.) – Final year or recently graduated
  • Post Graduates (MBA/PGDM/LLM/M.Com/Mass Comm, etc.) – Final exam appeared or completed within last 6 months

✅ PhD / Research Scholars

Registered PhD candidates in Computer Science, Cyber Laws, Data Privacy, Blockchain, AI/ML, or Public Policy with supervisor’s recommendation.

Internship Duration

Minimum: 6 weeks
Maximum: 12 months

  • Technology Centre: Bengaluru
  • Regional Offices: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ranchi, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Thiruvananthapuram, and others

Selection Process

  • Screening based on academic performance and area of interest
  • Interview (Virtual/Offline) by UIDAI officials
