Role Overview – Graduate Apprentice Trainee at Volvo Group

In this role, you will work closely with Production Leaders, Team Leaders, Quality, Logistics, and Maintenance teams to support assembly operations. The focus is on data-driven decision making, process stability, and lean manufacturing practices.

You will gain exposure to real-time production monitoring, KPI tracking, quality analysis, and digitalisation initiatives within a world-class manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Support process improvement initiatives to eliminate MURI, MURA, and MUDA
• Manage live production data and maintain KPI / PI records
• Assist in ANDON analysis and root-cause identification
• Support video study analysis to improve cycle time and workflow
• Participate in Gemba walks and identify abnormalities
• Assist IMQ teams in random quality inspections
• Track WIP vehicles and ensure documentation accuracy
• Support safety initiatives and risk assessment activities
• Assist in trials, validation, and engineering change implementation
• Prepare daily and weekly production performance reports
