Job Description

As an Analyst 1 – Business Applications at Western Digital, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and high-performance business applications. The role involves working across front-end and back-end technologies, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of high-quality IT solutions.

You will gain exposure to modern application frameworks, database systems, and enterprise development practices while contributing to real-world business applications.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Develop and maintain business applications and internal systems
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs
• Implement server-side applications using .NET technologies

Front-End Development

• Build responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Work with modern frameworks such as Angular or React
• Ensure smooth integration between UI and backend services

Backend & Database Work

• Develop APIs using ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core
• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL
• Design efficient data structures and optimize queries

Testing & Documentation

• Write unit tests to ensure application reliability
• Debug issues and perform root cause analysis
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Collaboration
