Role Summary

As a Content Partner Engineer, you will act as a technical advisor and execution lead for YouTube’s strategic partners. You will manage technical engagements, guide implementations, and ensure partners successfully integrate and scale YouTube technologies.

The role blends engineering expertise, partner communication, and project leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technical integrations for YouTube’s strategic partners
  • Review implementations and recommend best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Advocate new YouTube product features to partners
  • Provide technical documentation and integration guidance
  • Share partner feedback with Product and Engineering teams
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning to deployment
  • Improve partner workflows through automation and optimization

Required Skills

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP
  • Coding knowledge in Java, C / C++, or Python
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to manage multiple partner engagements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to video technologies (streaming, DRM, codecs, VR/360)
  • Familiarity with the Indian digital media ecosystem
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
